Julie is the queen of blogdom, incredibly multi-talented, and a good friend of mine who makes me laugh and cry, sometimes. It's all good. I've read her short stories and *Letters from Eden* several times each. They soothe my soul and every time I read, I learn, and love her more. She's the most generous person I have ever met in my life. Joyful to know her.

WOW....I knew Julie Z was a somebody, I just didn't realize she was this big of a some-body. Those of us who be-friended her a long time ago on her blog just liked what she showed us and shared with us. Now we know a little bit more, and it is great. For all the nature lovers and naturalists and bird lovers out there Julie Z, or Zick, as some people on Facebook refer to her, is an inspiring individual. WOW !!!

What a lovely article about such a talented lady. I have enjoyed Julie's illustrations for years. My dad use to point out how she caught the feel of the animal not just it's image and he said that is the difference between someone who can draw and a true artist. I think Julie is a true artist with pen and brush!

Thank you to the editors of Ohio Magazine, thank you writer John Bruening, designer Lesley Blake, and photographer Michelle Coleman for granting me this showcase. What an honor! I will strive to live up to this wonderful portrait.

Is it geeky of me to leave the first comment?

Too late!
