Puppets Tell a Story

Ohio has played an important role in puppetry, a truly unique form of theater. 

Puppets are just heaps of fabric, mute heads and lifeless characters — until a child puts a small hand inside one, an actor slips a puppet head over his own or a professional puppeteer cleverly manipulates a marionette. Magically, the puppet becomes a devil or a diva, a dragon or a damsel in distress.
