The Character of Mexico 1959-1960: Works by Dr. Charles Dietz

Charles Dietz was the Director of what's now the Zanesville Museum of Art Institute from 1954 to 1995. An accomplished artist, Dietz took a sabbatical from the museum from 1959 to 1960 to focus on his painting career. This exhibition explores his trip to Mexico and the tremendous impact its cultural landscape had on his work.
