Legendary rocker Peter Frampton collaborates with Cincinnati Ballet in a trio of dance works.


Peter Frampton knew someone at Cincinnati Ballet wanted to talk to him. Artistic director and chief executive officer Victoria Morgan had been emailing his manager since 2007, attempting to schedule a meeting with the British singer-songwriter-guitarist. The correspondence had yielded permission to use Frampton’s recorded music in a September 2009 program. But Morgan envisioned more: a true collaboration between the ballet and Frampton — who lived in the Cincinnati suburb of Indian Hill at the time.
