See Unique Works by Ohio Ceramics Artists at This Annual Show

See a variety of ceramics art, from delicate creations to large-scale works, during the 20th anniversary of this free show at northeast Ohio’s River Gallery.

Bethany Krull’s chameleon stands perched atop a cactus, inviting viewers to lean in for a closer look. The intriguing work is one of many featured in this year’s 20th Annual Ceramic Invitational at River Gallery in Rocky River. Running Feb. 8 through March 29, the free exhibition highlights the creative craftsmanship of 20 different Ohio artists.

River Gallery, which is located in the Cleveland suburb of Rocky River’s Old River Shopping Area, prides itself on showcasing works by Buckeye State artists, whether they are new to their craft or have been practicing it for years. The gallery’s aim is to support and provide a platform for artists with roots in Ohio, and its collection changes frequently, spanning paintings, sculptures, ceramics and jewelry, as well as glass and wood works.

Artists featured in this year’s 20th Annual Ceramic Invitational include: Lindsay Bergquist, Rebekah Bogard, Ruth Borgenicht, William Brouillard, David FinkBonnie Gordon, Amy Halko, Michael High, Royce Hildebrandt, Tom Hubert, Molly Johnson, Gunyoung Kim, Bethany Krull, Andrea LeBlond, Alison Lowery, Ryan Osborne, Natalie Reed, Sam Scott, Kaname Takada and Shannon ”owo” Webb.
