Russian Decorative Arts from the Tsars to the USSR

Though the museum is temporarily closed, curator Michael Reese takes visitors on a visual journey through Russian history from a time of decadence with the tsars to the fall of the USSR. Through the decorative arts of the times, this exhibition explores what it was like to live in Russia during those tumultuous times, featuring objects that tell stories of wealth and poverty, political struggle, fashion and religion.
