‘American Pickers’ is Visiting Ohio in March

The much-loved and long-running documentary series seeks private citizens across the state who have treasures and unique finds to share as they return here to film next month.

If you have a trove of treasures you’ve been collecting over the years, the popular and long-running series “American Pickers” may be interested in swinging by to look at what you’ve got. The show in which skilled treasure hunters crisscross the nation looking for rare finds among people’s personal collections is visiting the state of Ohio in March.

“American Pickers” continuously looks for large and rare collections as well as unique items they’ve never seen before. Because the documentary series doesn’t pick from antiques stores or other sorts of established public businesses, producers for “American Pickers” seek out private citizens who are open to welcoming the crew in to sift through garages, barns and the like so they can make offers on unique or historically significant items they uncover.

“As they hit the back roads from coast to coast, the Pickers are on a mission to recycle and rescue forgotten relics,” noted the January 2025 press release seeking Ohio participants to take part in filming. “Along the way, they want to meet characters with amazing stories and fun items. They hope to give historically significant objects a new lease on life while learning a thing or two about America’s past along the way.”

If you or someone you know has items the show might be interested in seeing, send a name, phone number, location and description of the collection with photos to americanpickers@cineflex.com or leave a voicemail at 646/493-2184.
