Tours are self-guided, mobile-friendly and range from neighborhood-specific tours to those curated by Columbus-based artists. With more than a dozen tour choices, you are sure to find one to inspire your exploration.
Go on the Short North Mural Tour and take a photo with the famous Short North Gothic Mural. Grab a scooter or CoGo bike and take The Bikeable, Skateable MuRoll Tour with Ariel Peguero. Take a tour of sculpture and installation art with Columbus-based artist Andrea Myers and drive under the spectacular sculptural installation Current, which hovers over the center of downtown. Walk nearly 2 miles while enjoying 29 works of public art on the Franklinton Arts Tour, and while you’re there, check out the Franklinton Arts District, which also has great local food and drink spots. Explore the Discovery District on the east side of downtown Columbus with either the North or South Discovery district tours, which include stops at the world-famous Topiary Park and Columbus College of Art & Design.
While touring, look for murals with augmented reality easter eggs. The Journey (on the Short North Tour) has its own AR app to view special features. Guardians of Old North (on The Mystical Mural Tour with Adam Hernandez) and Home Run Mitch, Caught in the Act, and Birds on A Line (all on the Bikeable, Skateable MuRoll Tour with Ariel Peguero) each have AR features that can be viewed with the Artivive app.
