Shop and Explore in the Hocking Hills
This year, give handcrafted and one-of-a-kind gifts from makers located in and around one of the most beautiful areas in the state.
The beauty of the Hocking Hills, with its majestic cliffs, waterfalls and deep gorges, serves as the magnificent backdrop for holiday shopping. The fifth annual Hocking Hills Holiday Treasure Hunt, Nov. 1 through Dec. 12, showcases one-of-a-kind gifts from more than 25 participating shops, including Homegrown On Main, featuring works by local artists, craftsmen, photographers, writers and musicians.
Other shops participating in the event specialize in antiques, art, home furnishings, home decor, apparel, collectibles, candles and jewelry. Download a treasure map or pick one up at the event, and collect stamps from six different shops to be eligible for prizes that include a two-night Hocking Hills getaway for four, complete with cabin, dining certificate and gift basket.
Holiday togetherness can also be yours by booking a stay at one of the lodges or cabins the region is famous for. Then, wind down at the family- and pet-friendly Brewery 33 in Logan. Enjoy a glass of wine or a wine slushy at Hocking Hills Winery. Both feature live music Friday and Saturday nights. The Logan Christmas Parade, Dec. 7, is also fun for everyone.
